The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Greater Dayton Region, is dedicated to the advancement of philanthropy by fostering ethical and effective fundraising practices. Our core activities encompass education, training, mentoring, research, credentialing, and advocacy. We are unwavering in our commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical fundraising.

Our local chapter offers you the chance to enhance your networking and professional growth. These include opportunities for networking and discounted access to monthly educational programs.

Scholarships
AFP offers two distinct scholarships to support professionals in the field of fundraising.

 

The Membership Scholarship covers the cost of becoming a member of AFP Dayton. This scholarship aims to promote professional development and enhance fundraising skills.

 

Additionally, the organization offers ICON Scholarships which facilitate participation in the AFP ICON conference. These scholarships generously cover conference expenses, hotel accommodations, and per diem meals.
 

ICON scholarship application deadline is November 22nd. Apply here.

Research and Practice Tools

Some of the tools provided include, The AFP code of Ethical Principles and Standards, Ethics Assessment Inventory, International Statement of Ethical Principles, Donor Bill of Rights, Fundraising Resource Center, and toolkits.
