This year, the AFP Greater Dayton Region Chapter will recognize outstanding organizations in the community who found ways to RISE UP over the last year and a half.  We are seeking nominations by or for those organizations or individuals who acted quickly, pivoted gracefully, and found new opportunities to serve the Greater Dayton community in impactful ways.

In your nomination, please highlight the philanthropic endeavors from a 360-view and explain the factors that took place for the organization to pivot and continue to serve the community through the COVID-19 pandemic.  Tell us how your nominee was able to shine during a trying time for the community, nation, and world.

Use the following points as guidelines to create a narrative (in 1,000 words or less.) In your nomination please highlight the following:

  • How the organization or individual has made a greater difference in the community since 2020.

  • Philanthropic achievements

  • Volunteer/Committee contributions

  • Staff victories or achievements

AFP is committed to the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) in the fundraising profession, the philanthropic sector and throughout all of society. You may also include ways you are addressing Inclusion, Equity, Diversity, and Access (IDEA) within your organization.

All nominations are due by Tuesday, September 7 at 5:00 p.m.

(No limit to the number of submissions)
