Since 1989, development professionals, consultants, board members and nonprofit executives alike have joined the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Dayton Region Chapter in order to share best practices and stay up-to-date with current fundraising tactics, trends and strategies.  AFP provides both local fundraisers and local funders the opportunity to connect and learn from each other as they work to improve the quality of life for everyone who lives, works and plays in the Greater Dayton Region. 

Regular chapter programs and special events give members and their guests the opportunity to network while furthering their education about fundraising and nonprofit management.  For those who are more comfortable in a one-on-one setting, AFP also offers a unique mentoring program to connect seasoned professionals with those just starting in their career.  AFP members also enjoy free use of the AFP Resource Center and receive regular communications to keep them informed on the latest developments in the field of philanthropy.
